80 teams from 4 continents: this is The Globe

“The Globe” is a tournament dedicated to the Under-12 category, which took place on December 7 and 8, 2025, on the fields of Trezzano sul Naviglio and Basiglio.

Eighty teams participated, coming from three continents: from Africa, Morocco's K. Jeunesse; from North America, Canada's International Football Academy; and from Asia, Flamengo Arabe from Saudi Arabia.

Twenty Italian and European professional teams accepted our invitation: AC Milan, AC Monza, AC Renate, AFC Ajax, Atalanta, Como 1907, Copenhagen FC, Crystal Palace FC, CSKA Sofia, Djugardens IF, FC Basel 1893, Inter, Juventus FC, Lecco Calcio, PSV Eindhoven, Parma Calcio, SL Benfica, Torino FC, US Cremonese, and Union Brescia.

Seven of these teams (AC Monza, AFC Ajax, Copenhagen FC, Djugardens IF, FC Basel 1893, Inter, and Torino FC) competed in the opening tournament, called “The Globe Open,” which took place on December 6 as a grand preview of the event.

After an initial round-robin phase, the tournament included an additional group stage to determine which teams would qualify for the knockout phase.

In just two days, over 300 matches were played, a result that best represents the spirit of the tournament: to offer young people the opportunity to play, have fun, and compete with teams of different levels and backgrounds.

In order of ranking, Inter took the lowest step on the podium, defeating AC Monza in the 3rd/4th place final, giving rise to an exciting Lombardy derby.

AC Milan and Parma Calcio competed in the final, with the latter winning a spectacular match 2-3 against the young Rossoneri, deservedly winning the tournament.

At the end of this weekend dedicated entirely to the soccer we love so much, we would like to thank all the teams, the players who took part in “The Globe Open” and “The Globe,” and all the people who filled the stands at the Trezzano and Basiglio facilities.
