Stade Laurentin de Football wins the Trezzano City Trophy!

January's Strikers tournaments ended with the first edition of the Trezzano City Trophy, held on the pitches of Trezzano sul Naviglio.

The event, which took place on January 24 and 25, was entirely dedicated to the U10 category and saw the participation of 32 teams.

Among these were eight professional clubs, which took to the field with athletes below the category: AC Milan, Bologna FC, CFR Cluj 1907 (Romania), Como 1907, Inter FC, Paris Saint-Germain (France), Parma Calcio, and Sassuolo Calcio.

Alongside PSG and CFR Cluj 1907, the tournament also hosted other international teams: Atletico Junior Bacau (Romania), FC Bonson Cyprien and Stade Laurentin de Football (France), FC Selection and AS Breganzona (Switzerland), Saint Andrews (Malta), Young Boys Reutlingen (Germany), and the Asian teams Chongqing Tongliangcong and Chinese Football Academy 2017.

Despite the cold Milanese winter, it was two intense and entertaining days.

The first phase consisted of eight groups, at the end of which the first and second-placed teams gained access to the four Platinum groups, which guaranteed the winners a place in the semifinals. The third and fourth-placed teams continued the tournament in the four Gold groups.

At the end of the Platinum phase, Sisport, Emanuele Troise Calcio, Stade Laurentin de Football, and Saint Andrew reached the semifinals.

In the semifinals, Sisport defeated Emanuele Troise Calcio (a team linked to the former soccer player of the same name who played for Napoli and Bologna, among others) with a score of 4-1. In the other semifinal, France's Stade Laurentin de Football reached the final after a long series of penalty kicks against Saint Andrews Nero.

The final saw Stade Laurentin de Football prevail, beating Sisport 2-0 to take first place in the first edition of the Trofeo Città di Trezzano.

Third place went to Emanuele Troise Calcio, who won 4-3 in the third-place playoff against Saint Andrews Nero, who finished fourth.
